  • With sleep/wake function that put the tablet to sleep mode when the case is closed.
  • Incorporates 2 angle stands in tablet only-mode. 1 for viewing and 1 for typing. Comes with screen protector

We are proud to introduce our hybrid ‘Portfolio’ cover for ASUS Transformer Book T100 CHI-FG007B 10.1″ Convertible Tablet 64GB, built to fit with and without it’s docking keyboard. Works as a stand-alone case or with the keyboard attached.

We have used high quality PU leather for your case. A soft felt inner will protect your screen from scratching – we have included a complimentary stick-on screen protector for added peace of mind.

To use the case slide in the tablet and secure with the velcro tab. Then position the keyboard under the two elasticated straps. Now attach the tablet to the keyboard. (We find the easiest way to do this is with the tablet in the case at an upright position). Once complete the combination of the velcro tab and the straps will hold the tablet and keyboard in place, ensuring they won’t ever slip out.

Every port of the tablet has been measured and cut-outs customised for each, so you can use all features without having to remove your tablet from the case. You can also charge your tablet with the cover securely closed.

A secure rear elastic strap keeps your tablet firmly in position when the case is closed.

The practical flip stand function offers 2 angle positions, providing an optimum angle for both viewing and typing.

We think this case ticks all the boxes. Give it a try and see…

Good quality and design. The only magnet-free case!, 29 Sept. 2011

I searched for ages to find a case for my Asus Transformer that DIDN’T have a magnet for case closing. Hardly any other manufacturer seems to have realised the obvious problem this would cause with the device magnetometer. The one other I found had a stiff catch, which, from reviews, was misdesigned and was too hard to open without risking device damage! iGadgitz designers have actually thought about this and have designed a case with an elastic strap for closure. This simple but effective method works fine; but in practise I simply close the case and leave it as is; there is no real need for a closure mechanism when carrying the device around – the strap IS a little fiddly compared to alternative closure methods.
The case is attractive and comfortable to hold. The material has a good expensive feel and looks durable. Internal surfaces are lined with a fine plush/velvet, thus protecting the device case from scratches or wear. Insertion of the tablet device is easy and fast, being secured by an internal velcro tab. It works well and there is no risk of the device falling out in use. Cutouts abound, so all ports and connectors are accessible, with one small -but important- exception. In common with -it seems- all other cases, the charging port is covered when the case is closed. So it has to be left open to charge. A few minutes with a sharp craft knife would probably solve this slight design flaw. Against this is the fact that the port won’t be contaminated by dust when carrying the closed case… so maybe intentional. The rear camera hole is perfectly aligned. Curiously, there are (unnecessary) holes provided for the optional keyboard unit docking catches… but the keyboard cannot, obviously, be docked with the case on! The case overlaps the edges of the device sufficiently to protect against knocks to the device edge and corners, which are rather over-exposed by the cutouts.
There is a leather tab provided on the back so that the case can be configured as a sloping stand. It works fine. It is great to see no bulk-creating pockets etc. for cards and suchlike, helping to keep the case slim and avoiding any screen wear when closed.

My only slight niggles with the design are probably more personal than otherwise:
    1. Needs a cutout on the spine, so charging can be done without leaving it open
    2. I would prefer the case cover opened from the top, which is more intuitive than the bottom opening design used. It has to be tucked underneath out of the way. Hinged at the top would be far more practical and natural
    3. The edge of the case around the screen aperture is rather wider than is needed, covering the Asus logo, and somewhat interfering with operations at the screen edge – although it doesn’t actually obscure the active display area itself, it comes very close. Too close. Again, this could possibly be rectified by careful use of a sharp craft knife.

Overall, a generally well-designed case, by designers who know how to design 😉 and which is excellent value for money. In fact for the price it is exceptionally good. Highly recommended.

In a nutshell, made for the job, the transformer needs support when using,it stops the tablet from sliding from your knee, also protection when in transit , ok access to the charging socket when the case is fully closed is a no go ,but with a sharp craft knife it is soon remeded , for £20 it a no brainer , get one!!!!
