The ideal case for the Transformer Infinity, 13 Nov. 2012

As many have stated already, this is a robust case which fits the Transformer Pad perfectly. I use it for the TF700 and the internal pocket provides room for the necessary wipes to keep the screen clean, a few slim documents or papers, a USB flash drive and little else. However, as a carry case for daily use you should not need to carry around the charging cable anyway. The exterior is tough and a perfectly acceptable if functional appearance(a personal view) and has a soft lining to protect the tablet.
The few negative comments appear to suggest that they may have missed the essential storage point. The tablet with keyboard attached must be inserted with the hinged edge facing you (the open part) otherwise it is a very tight fit. Get that right and this is a perfect fitting and robust carry case at a good price.

I bought one of these and ended up sending it back. I wanted a cheap hard case for my transformer infinity that was easy to use.

I found it fiddly to use because 1) The tablet barely fits in the case (is it really a custom size?) 2) The zips get stuck at the corners unless you close at high speed/force.

I also thought the quality was lacking for the price, yes it isn’t that pricey but one I bought from Amazon a year ago (still available..) is half the price and much nicer (though not hard).

I’d go for the “TeckNet 10.2″ Black Neoprene Netbook/Tablet Sleeve Case Bag For iPad, iPad 2 and other 10.2″ Notebook” if after a simple sleeve unless it really must be a hard case. I’m thinking of getting another for my new tablet now that I’ve returned this igadgetz case.

When you haven’t gone down the ipad road it’s hard to find a flip case for your tablet because your only option seems one of those covers that have to wrap around the tablet edges for attachment. This is fine if you don’t care about looks but if you do, these faux-leather wrap-around cases are just downright ugly.

Sometimes the simplest solution is the best and in the end I decided I would just be extra careful with my tablet when using it and choose a simple sleeve for carrying it in my backpack.

I’m very satisfied with this case. The padding protects the tablet from damage and the internal pouch will hold some papers, the screen cleaning cloth and in-ear headphones. Tablet + keyboard fit perfectly. You can also carry around the tablet by itself because the velcro strap will keep it in place. Perhaps the case could have been a millimeter larger all around because the tablet does fit *very* snugly, but that does also mean there is absolutely no room for it to slide around and thus it is better protected.

It’s unlikely, but if this case wears out before my tablet does then I’ll happily buy it again!
